XT Performance's Walnut Blasting Service for 2014-2018 Subaru Forester XT/2015-2021 Subaru WRX FA20DIT Engines.

These model years comes equipped with the all new FA20DIT engines. Meaning that they have a Direct Injected fueling system, causing carbon build-up in the intake ports and valves, as there are no fuel mixture to wash the back of the valves and intake port as you would in a traditional port injection fueled engine.

These carbon build-up can make your engine feel sluggish and stopping your car from performing to it's full potential. Maximize your performance and horsepower by getting rid of your carbon build-up!

 Here at XT Performance, we use our AUTOOL HTS558 Walnut Blaster with adapters specifically made for the FA20DIT engines. With the adapters and the HTS558 unit, it leaves a mess-free engine bay, as the HTS558 is a 2-in-1 machine - a shopvac and a media blaster all-in-one.

Service levels are as followed::

BRONZE 

- Removing/Reinstalling your intake manifold 

- Removing/Reinstalling and cleaning of both TGV's. We clean the mating surfaces of the OEM TGV's to ensure a proper sealing and free of debris before reinstalling.

- Remove/Reinstall and Clean EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation) piping. Since this piping is required to be removed while removing your intake manifold, we take the time to clean and ensure that it is free of carbon build-up.

SILVER 

- Includes ALL in BRONZE service level

- Remove/Replace ALL Intake manifold and TGV gaskets, and EGR pipe gasket. Additional charges and sales taxes for gasket sets, please select option to add gaskets

GOLD

- Includes both BRONZE & SILVER service levels.

-  Remove/Replace spark plugs with OEM NGK Spark Plugs. (Part# ILKAR8H6 x4) **Additional charges and sales tax for spark plugs** (Please select options below to add Gaskets and Spark Plugs to your service)
